Rach's Baby Shower

Ya know what I just realized last night? Rachael is one of my longest-running friendships. She and I were in the same kindergarten class and have been friends ever since. We have always lived close to each other....about 5 minutes apart actually.  We both grew up in Lawrenceville, then went to North Georgia together in Dahlonega, and then moved to Braselton.  She is such a sweet, special person to me, and I really cherish her friendship.
{I love this picture of her!}
Anyway, Rach is 37 weeks preggo and going to deliver Baby Copponex any day! SO exciting!!  I could not be more happy for her, Greg, and gorgeous Miss Macy!
We celebrated with a lovely baby shower last night at Fuego.  Chels and Laura came and picked me up....and we had a little trouble finding the place so we were a little late (shocker, huh?). Phone navigation can be tricky!! But at least we had lots of laughs on the way.

We finally arrived....and Rach looked gorgeous.  She said a little something to the group, and it was really a precious moment. I'm so thankful I was able to be there.
Her lovely hostess' had a great idea to give her books since this is baby # 3 and Rach has most of what she needs.
  I didn't get her a book, (although I love books and LOVED that idea!)...
 because I had this made for her (Mrs. Mary @  Just Sew! Studio hooked me up) to deliver Baby Copponex in....
Laura, Rach, Chels & I
And again...(I should really start washing, or at least brushing... my hair....)
Me & Momma-to-Be!
 Rachael & her sweet mom, Mrs. Terry (whom my mom worked in the library with back in our elementary school days)...
The whole gang!..who had the privilege of hearing some possible Baby Copponex names....so cute! Be jealous we know the secret!
(You'd think the waitress would get it right after her photography lessons with Kelly- hilarious!)
 I am so very thankful for Rachael's friendship and for her sweet family. She has such a cool testimony and is a GREAT example. You can read more about her story on her blog here.

Praying for the Copponex family as they bring another precious life into this world...(I'm thinking it's a girl, and she'll make her appearance within the next week!) :)

P.S. Yes, this is what I was referring to when I mentioned my "wild night out" in my Friday Morning Adventures  post....I don't get out much anymore.
